ABOUT

Hi there! My name is Lauren and I'm a wife to my sweetheart, Kevin and mama to my sweet little girl, Violet.

A Lovely Lark was created out of my love of children's design and decor. I fell in love with all things little while designing my daughter's nursery back in 2010. I'm currently working on her big girl room in the hopes of someday having a second bambino to add to our family!

I love to design children's spaces and offer custom idea boards which can be purchased here. I also create ideabooks each month for Houzz.com and contribute over on Apartment Therapy Family.

When I'm not blogging I work full time as an art teacher and run an Etsy shop where I sell custom hand-painted silhouette portraits.
